Yank is designed with privacy as a core principle. All clipboard data processed by Yank remains entirely on your device.

  • Clipboard data: Yank monitors your clipboard to provide history functionality. This data is stored locally on your Mac and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
  • Usage analytics: We do not collect analytics or telemetry data from Yank. No information about how you use the application leaves your device.
  • Purchase information: If you purchase Yank through the Apple App Store, Apple processes your payment. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple may share limited transaction information with us, such as your region and purchase date, in accordance with Apple's privacy policy.

2.2 Oops - Grammar and Writing Assistant Chrome Extension

Oops analyzes text you type in your browser to provide grammar and writing suggestions.

  • Text content: When you use Oops, the text you type in active text fields is analyzed to provide grammar and writing corrections. Text is processed to generate suggestions and is not stored permanently on our servers.
  • Usage data: We may collect anonymized usage statistics such as the number of corrections made and the types of grammar issues detected. This data does not contain your actual text content and is used solely to improve the quality of our grammar checking algorithms.
  • Browser data: Oops does not access your browsing history, bookmarks, downloads, or any data outside of active text fields where you invoke the extension.

2.3 Website (undev.ai)

  • Server logs: Our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used for security monitoring and is not used to personally identify you.
  • Cookies: Our website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Essential cookies may be set by our hosting provider for security and performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our applications and services
  • To improve the accuracy and quality of grammar checking in Oops
  • To monitor and maintain the security of our website and services

  • Apple App Store: Handles payment processing and distribution for Yank. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.

  • Yank: Clipboard history is stored locally on your device. You can clear your clipboard history at any time through the application. Uninstalling Yank removes all stored data.
  • Oops: Text submitted for grammar checking is processed in real time and is not retained after your session ends. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for up to 12 months to improve our service.
  • Website: Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention policy, typically no longer than 90 days.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. For Yank, security is inherent in the design - your clipboard data never leaves your device. For Oops, text data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and is processed without permanent storage.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You may request information about what personal data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal data. For Yank, you can delete all locally stored data by clearing your clipboard history or uninstalling the application. For Oops, since we do not permanently store your text content, there is no persistent data to delete.
  • Correction: You may request correction of any inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
  • Opt-out: You may opt out of anonymized analytics collection in Oops through the extension settings. For Yank, no analytics are collected.
  • Data portability: Where applicable, you may request a copy of your personal data in a portable format.

Our products and services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
